Our parent organisation Latthe Education Society (a Jain Minority Institute) was established in 1951 with a view to bring social revival, generate good culture, self reliance and national integration among people. The Society was named after Late Annasaheb Latthe, the renowned politician, economist, social reformer and a great academician, in order to honour his noble vision and mission.

In continuation of the vision and mission, Latthe Education Society has established about 43 branches offering KG to PG courses in the disciplines of arts, commerce, science, education, engineering, law and medical as well. However, there was no separate college for girls and number of girls were deprived of higher education. Realising this, Latthe Education Society established a college for girls in Jaysingpur on 5th Sept., 1985 and opened the avenue of higher education. As a result thousands of girls from Jaysingpur and surrounding 45 villages could complete their higher education. Moreover, thousands of girls could commence second inning of their education after marriage and join the main stream of higher education only because of this college.. Read more

Honor to Late Annasaheb Latthe, Latthe Education Society is established in 13th June 1951. Annasaheb Latthe was social catalyst who devoted all his mind, money and heart to education specially to girls and backward classes. The seed of LES was planted in 1951 and it was nurtured by many personages and patrols. The vigorous efforts of Principal G. K. Patil and Smt. Kalantre Akka germinated the seed into sapling.

As Smt. ‘Kalantre Akka’ bestowed five acres of land of ‘Shravikashram’ and entrusted three branches, ‘Gandhi Shishuvihar’, ‘Kasturba Junior College of Education and Primary School to Latthe Education Society. During last seventy years the society is pervasively growing in Western Maharashtra and North Karnataka States through various branches. Recently, about 25000 students and 1500 Faculty members are devoting in the process of teaching and learning through 42 branches. Latthe Education Society is providing education from KG to PG. and Research as well.
